CASA DE LEGARDA
The House with History
A house of 1634 restored, in the decade that "Buen Retiro Palace" was built in Madrid; in the heart of Rioja wine, in Briñas, 500 m. from the intersection of the national highways of the Rioja Alta and the Rioja Alavesa, less than 3 km. of the Neighborhood The Station of Bodegas de Haro, in the same shore of the Ebro, where you will be able to touch it with the hand.
The current Casa de Legarda, is part of a large house, which formed it with adjoining houses. This space was occupied by a winery, as can be seen on the walls of part of the living room and its toilet, downstairs in the dining room there is a source of wine, which here in La Rioja is called "torco"; the main entrance, which is a baroque gateway, is on your left, then there was the barn house, and the house of the corral where the original inscription of 1634 is found, and which we have reproduced in our house.
